H.S. Marching Band will be in the Sweet Springs Fall Festival Parade @ 7p.m.
Homecoming week is September 24-27
Thursday, September 26: Powder Buff will be at 2:45 p.m. in the high school gym; Parents are welcome to attend (Parent Arrival after 2:30)
Thursday, September 26: Parade line up at 5:15 p.m. Homecoming Parade starts at 6 p.m.

Friday, September 27 Homecoming game at 7 p.m. v. Wellington Tigers-coronation at half-time.
5th Quarter will be held after the game in the High School commons for grades 7-12 until 11 p.m.
Good win tonight for JH volleyball! JH won in 2 sets over Miami!
Today we commemorated 9/11 with a moment of silence and educational activities in the social studies classrooms.
Thanks to SSR7 Student Council, high school students were able to participate in the Arrive Alive Tour throughout the day. Arrive Alive uses a high-tech simulator, impact video, and a number of other resources to educate individuals about the dangers of texting and driving, as well as the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Great first game and win over Concordia for the Junior High Football team! The Hounds won 28-14! The cheerleaders did a great job too! Go Hounds!
The Sweet Springs Marching Alliance performed at the Concordia Fall Festival. Great job!
World History students carve messages in clay tablets just like early civilizations.
High School students will be participating in the Arrive Alive tour on Tuesday, September 10th.
The 7th Grade students in FACS class were able to make their first batch of muffins!
The FOODS class had an opportunity to pick a familiar recipe that showed their introductory skills in the kitchen.
This week, students in 8th grade Spanish class gave mini presentations to classmates about a story they created in Spanish.
It's been a wonderful third week of school!!!!!!
*Congratulations to the Varsity Lady Hounds on their win against Lexington at their volleyball game this past Wednesday night and for playing such a close and exciting game versus the Green Ridge Lady Tigers this past Tuesday!
*Everyone looked amazing for picture day yesterday, too!
*Thank you to Mama Lisa's Grille for serving breakfast to the football players this morning. The Greyhounds are headed to North Shelby to play football tonight.
