Miss Hartman's - 4th Grade

Welcome to the Jungle!

I'm looking forward to another great year in 4th grade! I am a fourth year teacher and this will be my fourth year as a Greyhound. I feel very privileged to be a a part of the Sweet Springs R-7 family. I am originally from California, MO. My family includes my dad who works for Central Electric Power Cooperative in Jefferson City, my mom who recently retired from 33 years of teaching, and my younger brother who is a P.E. teacher and coach. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri in December 2009 with degrees in early childhood education and elementary education. After graduation, I became a substitute teacher and kindergarten tutor for the Warrensburg R-6 school district. For 3 years, I worked as a paraprofessional at Warrensburg Middle School as well as a homebound tutor for the district. In March 2014, I received my certification in special education. In my spare time I enjoy babysitting, dogsitting, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. My boyfriend, Matt, and I also like taking our dog, Bowser, to the dog park.
